Cartoon Version of a Masterpiece

My Cartoon Version of a Masterpiece was inspired by the iconic "American Gothic", which I'll also post for reference. I put a charming twist on the painting by drawing Steven and Connie from Steven Universe, one of my guilty pleasures. This was made with Adobe Photoshop, and I dragged a picture of the temple, featured in the show, in substitute of the chapel looking thing in the back of the original painting.

Cartoon Yourself Assignment

I used Sketchbook x instead of Photo shop, and used basic brushes for the outline. I included the black and white version, and the colored one. Sketchbook x doesn't have an eyedropper tool, so I eyeballed the colors to get as close as I could.

The Scream Assignment

My Scream Project was inspired by the original Scream painting by Edvard Munch. I used Photoshop and Photo Booth for making it, and used faux finish brushes, the eyedropper tool, and smudge tool for the majority of the painting. As for putting my face in, I altered the colors to be darker, and attempted to feather the lines with the blur tool.

Mona Lisa Assignment

My Mona Lisa project was traced with Photoshop and I used layers to trace Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. The gradient tool helped me make the snapchat filter. It took a lot of patience, but after shading and using the eyedropper tool, I got the right colors I  wanted and I'm satisfied with the result.
